The Issaquah center is a great place to be. Our staff members enjoy spending the days with children, helping them learn and explore. We guide our children through growth and shared discoveries. It is truly a rewarding way to spend the day. We have a very caring and experienced staff. Our lead teachers have an average of three years experience in childcare. All staff are CPR and first aid certified. All participate in the S.T.A.R.S. training program, as well as monthly company training.
As parents or guardians, you are welcome to call any time or visit your child throughout the day. We know it is hard to leave your child in the morning, and we take great efforts to make the transition back to work easier. We encourage parent participation, and in the past have always enjoyed high parent involvement with after-hours activities.
We provide the children with challenging, yet age-appropriate curriculum based on science, cooking, language, concepts and math. We teach them how to work together as a group, as well as independently in an environment created by them and for them. We allow them the structure they need, but also allowing for lots of exploration.
We invite you to visit the Issaquah Kid’s Country® for a tour. We would love to show you around and give you more information about joining our family.
Hello, my name is Kristen Winn. I am very excited to be able to work with the children and families of Issaquah. My childcare career began in 1999, as a teaching assistant, in the Cozy Kitten classroom in the Everett center. I also worked in this center as a teaching assistant in the school-age room. For the past three years, I assumed the position of Program Supervisor in Normandy Park. Working with children has become a personal challenge for me, as I believe children are very important to the existence of our planet. I really believe in the teachings of KiD'S COUNTRY and am excited to pass these beliefs on to the staff here.
My wonderful husband, Billy and I have a son who was born in November, 2005.
Please feel free to come to me with any questions or concerns. The office door is always open.

Tasha Moore has been in childcare for 9 years. She was a preschool teacher in the Dino Den classroom before being promoted to Program Supervisor. Tasha is excited to work with the families of the community. Please visit the center for a tour.
