Our center is in a very diverse community and this is reflected in our group of teachers, whose average tenure with us is one to two years. We work together as a team to provide the best care possible for each family.
It is never dull here --- always exciting! We have lots of family-oriented activities, such as luau, spaghetti dinner night, and our trick-or-treating carnival on Halloween for safe trick-or-treating!
Susana Gonzalez has been working with children 20 years. She began as a toddler teacher at a very small center in San Diego, California in 1986. In 1996, her journey led her to the Headstart program in the state of Washington. Susana received her degree from Yakima Valley Community College. Susana feels that joining the KiD'S COUNTRY® staff in 2000 has been a wonderful experience for her.
She believes that children need to be provided a safe and nurturing environment to grow socially and emotionally to enhance their ability to obtain a great education.

Kristina Speer has been in the childcare industry for seven years. She is currently enrolled in college to complete her Early Childhood Education degree. Kristina has two children that attend the center with her. Kristina is excited that she is able to work closely with the staff and children in the classrooms, which is something she enjoys doing. She loves to teach children and feels that when children are taught they are able to successfully reach their next stages in life. That is a wonderful sense of accomplishment for Kristina.
